‘Gunz and Hosez’

The first an­nual ‘Gunz and Hosez’ game will be held Saturday, March 24, at the Paris High School gym at 11 a.m.  Tickets are $5 at the door and a full concession stand will be open.

There will be a live auction at half time and a silent auction will be open during the game.

 “PHS Student Crime Stoppers provides the staff and student body with a proactive program to anonymously assist the police in solving crimes. Proceeds from the game will benefit our campus activities that include our annual scholarship to the Paris Education Foundation,” said campus coordinator Joey McCarthy.  “We want everyone to come out and have a great time supporting our brave first responder’s in a friendly competition basketball game.”

The Paris Rodeo & Horse Club dedicated the 58th Annual Paris Rodeo to Lamar & Red River County Crime Stoppers Saturday night. LRRCCS thanks the PRHC for dedicating the Paris Rodeo to us. LRRCCS appreciates the PRHC allowing us to be involved with the Paris Rodeo.

Celebrating Police Week In Red River County

Lamar-Red River County Crime Stoppers served hamburgers to 50 – 60 law enforcement personnel in Clarksville and Red RIver County Thursday night. A special thank you goes to LRRCCS board members Tony Clark for cooking the hamburgers, Megan Stephens for making the dessert, and servers Sherrie White & husband Jeff and Robert High.

PHS Crime Stoppers Donate to PEF

Paris High School Student Crime Stoppers donated $500 to Paris Education Foundation to fund a scholarship to a graduating senior. The donation was raised by selling t-shirts and con-cession stand sales. “This is the second year our student program has been able to provide an opportunity to assist a graduating student with college expenses,” campus coordinator Joey McCarthy said.

Paris High School Student Crime Stoppers donated $500 to Paris Education Foundation to fund a scholarship for a PHS Career and Technical Education student pursuing a career in criminal justice.

30th Anniversary

Lamar County Crime Stoppers will be celebrating our 30th Anniversary, February 2, 2016, from 4-6 pm at the Paris City Council Chamber. The first meeting of Lamar County Crime Stoppers was held, January 30, 1986. Stay tuned for more details.
